Yesterday, I had a long round-trip subway ride so I decided I would tackle knooking again. You may remember from my previous posts about knooking (here and here) that my stitches were twisted. I was determined to use this subway ride time to solve the problem.
I packed some Moda Dea Tweedle Dee and my Denise Interchangeable Crochet Hook in size M. Maybe it was the awesomeness of the Denise hooks, maybe it was my increased focus, or maybe I’ve just spent enough time knooking now, because my stitches aren’t really twisting anymore.
I did a few rows of garter stitch, then stockinette, then basketweave. I’m just at the beginning of trying some cables in the middle.
We’ll see if this turns into a project (a sampler scarf, perhaps?), or if I just use it to practice stitches and then unravel it.
