There are no Australian crochet magazines (unfortunately) and the only ones we can buy in the newsagents are the US ones which are very expensive by the time everyone ‘takes their cut’. I bought a digital subscription to Crochet Today and Crochet Magazine so they are both favourites of mine. If I had to choose between the two I think I’d go for Crochet Today. Please put me in the draw for the ripple book – I checked out Ravelry and there are some fabulous patterns in it. Thanks for offering these giveaways. xoxox
That is terrible, Dorothy. I hadn’t realized there was such a lack of crochet magazines in Australia!
We have few magazines here in the UK either dedicated to crochet. Most magazines are aimed at knitters, and feature the occasional crochet pattern. Judging by the letters pages, even this might not last long. There seem to be a lot of knitters here who are upset by the inclusion of crochet, whether it’s a while pattern or just an edging.
I am learnin to crochet and there is a shortage of magazines to get help from and these patterns look great
Definitely Crochet Today… I especially love their issue this month (almost last month) with the music note scarf… genius
I cannot say that I have any given favorite – normally what I do is head to the magazine rack at Barnes each month and look at the available patterns. I never wanted to fill my craft book area with magazines that had patterns I’d never make. The magazine that seems to carry the most patterns that I like and create is Crochet Today.
I like Interweave Crochet magazine best! Thanks!
I have to confess, when you said favorite I immediately thought of the one my grandmother always kept on the attic stairs in neat piles> The workbasket! I used to love looking thought that and dreaming about making some of the things in it when I got older.
crochet today, has some good patterns
I like crochet today, they have good patterns, and good tutorials.
Interweave Crochet! Even my daughters like the patterns in this one, and they are not fans of crocheted clothing.
In Ireland the crochet magazines are imported from UK and are expensive, so I have bought a few books about crochet, as well as using the local library . A favourite author of mine is Pauline Turner (from UK, I believe). I also bought a folder full of The Art Of Crochet secondhand, now all I need is the time to read them all, and put it into practise!
lovely book for a giveaway!
I subscribe to Crochet! and Crochet Today, but there is a UK one that I see at Joanns stores sometime and I can’t for the life of me remember the name of it. I has great articles, things to get, yarn reviews and such – it’s a ‘magazine’ that has crochet projects in it not a pattern book on thin stapled together paper.

Love ripples! Interweave crochet, not that I get it much
I don’t have a favorite magazine because Ravelry satisfies ALL of my pattern and technique curiosities.
I do not have a favorate magazine although I have looked at a couple of them
My favorite is Love Crochet. It only comes out once a year but its full to the brim of fanastic patterns
