Last week, I shared a little sneak peak picture.

No one guessed correctly, but it was a pretty mysterious photo.

Today, I’m sharing a new free crochet pattern that is designed for using up leftover bits of yarn and buttons from your collection.

This set of napkin rings and wine glass “charms” will add a DIY touch to your next “Girls’ Night” in while also using up those random odds and ends of yarn.

This set would also add a personal and creative touch to a wedding or housewarming gift! (And, you can easily finish the whole set in an afternoon for a last minute gift.)

I made a set of 8, but of course you could make more or less depending on the size of your glassware collection!

I crocheted a matched pair – one napkin ring and one wine glass “charm” –  with each of eight different yarns.

Alternatively, you could use the same yarn for the entire set with different buttons. Choose the approach that works for you and that will delight your guests!

This set is very beginner-friendly, but I know some crocheters are anxious about crocheting over cabone rings and creating buttonholes, so I’ve included photo tutorials.
