No matter how stressful life is, I can always pause it for a Seinfeld episode. Thank goodness for reruns.
So wise of you to get started early on your Holiday knitting. I might join you if I can get a handle on some of my WIP’s and come up with a gift list.
That is a pretty purple that you are using for the freebie pattern. Can’t wait to see what it is.

You have a great variety of colours in the first photo! I love the sample of the secret project. Ripping out is always the best way to go if something is bothering you.

You are so clever starting your holiday knitting now. I think it’s a brilliant idea. I love the colour of the yarn for your hat, and agree that ripping it out is best, you don’t want an irregularity bothering you!

When I read hiatus, I thought maybe you were taking a blog vacation! You can if you like, but it did really capture my attention! I am working on a motif project right now I am constantly having to rip back a row or two on almost every single motif because I get sidetracked and forget to count. In the long run, I’m glad I’m willing to rip back and redo to make it perfect, because I’d certainly notice the mistakes, even if no one else ever would!
