Hi Marie,
You probably don’t remember me, you taught me to crochet in 2010 at DC37 Headquarters. Marie I have recently started having hand pain (right hand) since a month ago when I was wrestling with a project. I tried to order the Eleggant Hook handle, but the site is not clear exactly what hook sizes come with it. They are having a special or 34.99 and just are not clear what the 34.99 includes. Help!!!!!
Sandra
Thanks for stopping by, Sandra. The Eleggant Hook handles are now available from Knitdom. According to the site, the kit comes with 1.25 mm, 1.75 mm, 2.25 mm, 3.5 mm, 5.0 mm, and 6.0 mm. Good luck.
Hi Marie,
I am looking for a crocheted afghan pattern that my mom did @90-91. It was a gift for our son for his wedding. I don’t know where to add a picture on here…but I did send you an email.
My mom has passed a way…and I would love to find the pattern to do a repair on the afghan.
Thank you in advance
Margo
Thanks for sharing the email, Margo! I replied to you directly via email.
I am looking for the pattern of the two tone hat in the old copy of Hat Knitting Patterns Crochet Patterns mon tricot Jan Feb 1978. Is there a library for this magazine, archive?
Thanks for stopping by, Janet. I’m haven’t seen a Mon Tricot archive online, but you may find one if you do a search. Good luck in finding this pattern!
Hi Marie, I found your beautiful cranberry shawl pattern and decided that I want it to be my next project. However, I’m interested in making 2 of them, tacking them together to make a poncho. I also want to put either buttons or snaps on the wing expanse to form loose sleeves. Do you think this will work or is the triangle shape wrong for this type of project?
Best,
Susan
Susan, thanks for writing. To be honest, I’ve never created a project of this type, so I’m not sure. I have seen ponchos made in a triangular shape, so I suggest you keep experimenting.
