I’m so excited to be partnering with Clover USA to bring an awesome giveaway to my crocheting readers. The winner will receive a crochet hook, a set of stitch markers, and my personal favorite darning needles, so read on for details.

I’ve been a long time fan of Clover products, so I was thrilled when they agreed to provide three great prizes for one lucky Underground Crafter reader! Let me tell you a bit more about the prizes.
Clover Amour crochet hook
Clover Amour hooks are great comfort hooks. They feature a soft grip handle with a wide thumb rest that allows for comfortable hand placement. The hooks are also color coded, with each size having a different color handle so you can easily find your favorite. The hooks are available in a large range of sizes, including steel hooks for thread and fine yarns in seven sizes from Size 0 (1.75 mm) through Size 12 (0.60 mm) and hooks for yarn in 17 sizes from Size B (2.25 mm) through Size P/Q (15.00 mm).
As you may have guessed when you saw this picture on Instagram, I’m a bit of a crochet hook hoarder. Since I got my own Clover Amour hooks a few months ago, I’ve been favoring them for my crochet projects. (In fact, every sample for all the patterns I released for Granny Square Month was made with a Clover Amour hook!) They are really comfortable and I like that the handles are color coded (especially when I’m digging into a box of hooks).
Quick Locking Stitch Marker Set
Back in January, I attended Creativation, a trade show for the craft industry, and I got some goodies from the Clover booth, including the Clover Quick Locking Stitch Marker set.
I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical at first. Was the wiggly shape just one of those marketing things, or did it have a purpose? Well, since I’ve exclusively used these stitch markers since January, I can say that the wiggly shape is awesome! The markers are thinner than other stitch markers, which means they don’t stretch out your stitches. This was really important when I was working on the sample for the No-Sew Huggable Crochet Pal, since stretching amigurumi stitches can lead to stuffing popping out, which is a no no.
You can see two of these markers in use for ear and eye placement below. The set includes six different colors and two different sizes.
If you’re not sure how you’d use locking stitch markers for crochet, check out this post: 5 Reasons to Use Locking Stitch Markers.
Darning Needles
A few years ago, I switched over to Chibi Jumbo Darning Needles as my favorite go-to yarn needles. (I use thinner tapestry needles for sewing in buttons.) First of all, they come with a case and as my Underground Crafter name suggests, I do a lot of crochet and knitting on the subway during my commute. There really is no better way to travel in style with needles!
I actually bought my first set at Knitty City, my local yarn shop, after my previous yarn needles got lost during the commute. I was excited about the little case but I was worried about the curved needles. They actually work out really great and now I can’t think of using anything else to weave in ends.
Giveaway
So now that I’ve shared what I love about Clover hooks and notions, I’m sure you’d like to win your own!
This giveaway is open to readers with mailing addresses in the United States or Canada, except where prohibited by law. Enter by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. One winner will be chosen at random from the entries submitted via the Rafflecopter widget. The winner will receive a Clover Amour crochet hook in the winner’s choice of available sizes, a Quick Locking Stitch Marker set, and darning needles, courtesy of Clover USA. Good luck!
I’d love to win a 15mm Amour hook to add to my collection!
My hand problems with crochet are not with my hook hand, but my off hand – something about holding the work and tensioning the yarn I guess. I found with the larger hooks, not only does the work go faster, but I can keep going a bit longer before fatigue sets in. I’d choose size M/N 9mm. I’d also be so happy to have the stitch markers and needles – I don’t have any curved needles right now – they seem to be the easiest things to misplace!
