- Amber says, “Hi everyone! I’m Amber from Divine Debris. A little bit about me – I’m a very dedicated coffee fan, a craft beer enthusiast, and a comic book nerd in addition to being a yarn addict. I’ve been designing patterns for a few years now and it’s so much fun, while being not only therapeutic but also giving me the creative freedom that I love. I have a blog where I make weekly free pattern posts and a couple times a month I release larger patterns for purchase in my Ravelry shop. - Amber says, “This is actually my latest free pattern on my blog. I’ve been creating tapestry sheep patterns for about the last year and they’re fun, silly, and always huge hits. - Amber says, “I love slipper-socks and these are some of my favorite that I’ve designed. The name comes from Grey’s Anatomy, one of my favorite shows, because in the first episode of Grey’s plays “Portions for Foxes” by Rilo Kiley. - Amber says, “This pattern is named after Diana of Themyscira also known as Wonder Woman. The design itself has nothing to do with the character other than the fact that I love her. I made this pattern a couple of years ago and shortly after I posted a link to the pattern free on my blog, Lion Brand Yarn shared it. It was awesome and so I’ve kept making more in the Diana Line, and it’s one of my favorite free lines of patterns I have now.” Get the free crochet pattern for the Diana Cowl here.
- Amber says, “In addition to being a comic book nerd, I love tv… which you might have guessed by me naming another pattern after Meredith Grey. The Linda Burger Bags is named after Linda Belcher from Bob’s Burgers and I still love this design, because it was one of my earliest tapestry designs and it’s so silly. - Amber says, “These designs I made for a Charity Toy Drive on Facebook and they’re free on my blog. For this drive I wasn’t sure what to make but I knew I wanted to do something silly. Amigurumi isn’t necessarily my strongest design category so this was a challenge but so much fun to make. And because I’m all about being able to customize and make designs your own, I made 2 designs for the pizza so you can be a pepperoni or veggie, but definitely stuffed crust – get it? - Amber says, “I started my crochet designer journey in jewelry. For a few months I was making earrings and necklaces out of every material I could get my hands one. - Amber says, “While it’s really hot where I live now in NC, during the Winter I’m all about hats. Last year I designed the Sally Skull Hat to go with the bag and scarf pattern I had already released. This design is a fun one and works up quick and when I wear it out, it always gets compliments.
