As my regular readers know, I’ve been in the “crochet business” since 2008. I started out teaching crochet and selling my finished projects at craft fairs during the holiday season. Later, I added freelance crochet design and teaching knitting. Now, my business is more focused on self-published crochet and knitting design, but I still do other things to diversify my income. For two years, I hosted the Creative Yarn Entrepreneur Show, a podcast filled with great ideas for indies with yarn-related businesses. (I even hope to bring it out of hiatus one day in the near future.) So, today’s giveaway is one that is close to my heart!
I know lots of talented crafters struggle with getting their businesses off the ground. I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I can definitely help with some ideas. Today’s giveaway includes two prizes: my book, Make Money Teaching Crochet: Launch Your Business, Increase Your Side Income, Reach More Students and a 30-minute Skype consultation about your crochet or knitting business (or, business idea, if you haven’t yet started your business).
Let me tell you a bit more about the two prizes. If the winner’s in the U.S., s/he will have a choice of the signed Workbook Edition, the print book including 15 worksheets and forms for your teaching business, or the Ultimate Printable Edition, the PDF ebook including 15 worksheets and 5 customizable forms in Microsoft Word that you can use in your teaching business. Even if you don’t plan to teach, there are lots of crochet business ideas inside. Although the book’s title emphasizes crochet, most of it is also applicable to knitting.
The Skype consultation will be for 30-minutes at a mutually agreeable time, scheduled before June 30, 2018. I can brainstorm ideas with you, answer your business questions, and refer you to different resources.
