Free pattern: It’s a Snap! Infinity Scarf

It's a Snap! Infinity Scarf, free #crochet pattern by Underground CrafterBy the time you read this, I’ll be getting ready for my trip to the 2016 Snap! Conference. It’s an annual event for creative bloggers in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I wanted to make an impression while I’m there, so I decided to choose some bold colors and make myself an accessory for the trip. I found these two vibrant skeins of Red Heart Soft at Michaels, and I was instantly smitten.

It's a Snap! Infinity Scarf, free #crochet pattern by Underground CrafterI was pretty sure these would stand out! In other great news, apparently turqouise and red are popular colors these days. (You may remember that color is my 2016 word of the year, so I’ve been added more variety in the colors I use, too.)

It's a Snap! Infinity Scarf, free #crochet pattern by Underground CrafterSince I didn’t have much time to get the scarf finished before the conference, I decided to choose a quick and simple stitch pattern. This is a one-row repeat stitch pattern, so it’s easy to remember, too. To keep things interesting, I alternated blocks of red, turquoise, and stripes.

It's a Snap! Infinity Scarf, free #crochet pattern by Underground CrafterI was able to finish it in just a little over one commute. It’s long enough to wrap around three times, but it’s got some lacy eyelets, too, so it’s a perfect year-round infinity scarf. You can wear it in the air conditioning or on a chilly night in the spring and summer, or wrap it around snugly for colder fall or winter weather.
