A few weeks ago, I shared the free knitting pattern for the Two-Toned Diamonds Infinity Scarf.

Free knitting pattern: Two-Toned Diamonds Infinity Scarf in Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn by Underground Crafter | Traveling eyelets form a diamond pattern in this cozy, color blocked infinity scarf. This unisex project works up quickly with bulky yarn.I used a set of Clover Takumi circular knitting needles to make it, after Clover sent me a pair in another size to try out.

I’ve used Clover Takumi straight needles before — all of the squares for the Anthology Blanket were knit with Clover straights — but it was my first time using the circulars. The bamboo is very comfortable on the hands, and the thin and flexible cable makes these needles great for small circumference knitting in the round using the “magic loop” technique.

  1. I have used these needles before for hats, socks, shawls, and anything else I’m working on. Would love to add another to my collection!

  3. I have been having troubles finding circular needles that work with Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn. The yarn seems to stick to the plastic ones I have. I want to knit a baby blanket.

  5. I knit almost exclusively with Takumi Bamboo Needles, since I find them to superior in every way. They are smooth but not too slick, which helps me achieve the right guage. They are warm to the touch making them comfortable and have no glare like metal needles, which are cold.

  6. I have just recently learned to knit and absolutely love it! I have mastered all the basics with straight needles and would love to start learning a new technique with it. I believe moving on with circular needles would be an awesome place to start. Plus, they would be so handy to take with me wherever I go. 🙂

  7. My original comment isn’t showing, so I’ll try again. I’d like a set with a 36″ cord, long enough to do sweaters, and after checking my stash, size 17 makes more sense. Of 19s would be a reason to buy more super chunky yarn, right? KittenWhiplash or rav thanks you for the giveaway.
