I’m sharing the Staggered Ladders Slouch hat crochet pattern, a gender-neutral bottom-up hat in 10 sizes from newborn through adult large. The Staggered Ladders Slouch uses post stitches to create a subtle texture, and is designed to coordinate with the Staggered Ladders Scarf.

Last week, I shared the pattern for the Staggered Ladders Scarf as part of the charity spotlight series.

While the Staggered Ladders Scarf is made with Cascade Yarns Anthem in 04 Maroon, the Staggered Ladders Slouch adds 06 Charcoal for a dramatic touch.

Both patterns use post stitches to create texture.

The Staggered Ladders Slouch hat crochet pattern is a bottom-up pattern, and I’ve included a video tutorial for cinching the top of a bottom-up crochet hat closed that you can use for many other patterns.
