I’m releasing a new free crochet pattern every week through December. Each one can be made with 3 skeins of yarn or less, and would make a great gift (for someone else, or as a reward to yourself for all of your holiday crafting!). Today’s pattern is the Pinky Circle Scarf, a beginner-friendly infinity scarf pattern.

This post contains affiliate links. I may receive compensation (at no added cost to you) if you make a purchase using these links. The yarn for the sample was generously provided by Rowan.
Everyone has a friend who is always “too hot.” (It used to be me!) I designed the Pinky Circle Scarf with this friend in mind.

This peek-a-boo ripple stitch pattern is the perfect solution. Even when worn with two wrap arounds, there’s a little air around the neck, too.
This infinity scarf is crocheted flat. The border is worked in the round with a slip stitch join. The stitch pattern is a simple 4 row repeat (and, 2 of those rows are the same!), and it uses just 2 skeins of Rowan Pure Wool Worsted.
This post is part of the third annual Countdown to Christmas I’m sharing with folks signed up for the Crochet Along updates and the Underground Crafter newsletter.

Each day through December 24, 2025, I’m sharing a 2-day free coupon code straight to your inbox for one of my crochet patterns that is perfect for winter or holiday crafting. Thanks for writing, Barbara. I’ll need some more information to understand what problems you’re having crocheting this scarf. Please feel free to email me with more details (marieATundergroundcrafterDOTcom).
