I knew I wanted to make a hat as part of my exploration of tapestry crochet this month, and I had just the right amount of leftover yarn!

I had some bits of Imperial Yarn Columbia in 116 Black Cherry and Imperial Yarn Erin in 01 Natural left in my stash.

I used some of Carol Ventura‘s tapestry crochet graph paper (available here), though, to be fair, this pattern is so simple I could have used regular graph paper.

This is a simple hat pattern that is perfect for your first explorations of tapestry crochet. I’ve even included both a chart and written instructions for the triangles pattern.

I’ve also included 8 sizes, from newborn through adult large, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find the right size for your next hat project! (I’m wearing the adult small in the pictures.)
