i really like the cold-snap-shawlett,but i’m having a time trying to figure out the instructions
starting with row 1
after completing to row 5-then going back to row 2 i have a half circle –
it looks nothing like the picture showing the flat scarf the lady is modeling .
can you please try and get me on the right track?

Dot, thanks for writing. It sounds like you are following the A Cold Snap Shawlette pattern http://undergroundcrafter.com/2016/06/24/free-pattern-a-cold-snap-shawlette/ and only completed 6 rows so far (row 1-5 and the first repeat of row 2). At this point, you should have a very short piece that will be the far corner of the triangle. If you look at the photo where I’m wearing the shawlette, you can see that the corners are slightly rounded. This shawlette is worked from side to side, increasing towards the center and then decreasing to the opposite end. I hope this helps.
