Love Bear Snuggler Crochet Pattern

I’m excited to shear an adorable bear snuggler crochet pattern as part of this year’s Furls Blog Hop. The Love Bear Snuggler has a big heart that starts out as a granny square and it’s the perfect toy for cuddling or for toting on adventures.

I was thrilled to be invited to join Furls again for their blog hop. For this blog hop, I got to try out Furls Wander yarn, a smooth, medium (#4/worsted) weight acrylic yarn available in dozens of colors. I’ve had my eyes on the Furls Blush Streamline Metal crochet hooks for quite a while, and was glad I could get my hands on this hook, too!

As I was choosing colors, I knew I wanted to make a snuggler crochet pattern, and I knew I wanted to incorporate a granny square heart, so I chose Patina as the main color, Atlantis for the paws and ears and muzzle, and Dragonfruit for the heart and facial embellishments.

I used safety eyes for my version, but if you plan to gift it to a small child, you can embellish the eyes with embroidery or surface crochet instead.

Like most snuggler crochet patterns, the head and paws are stuffed while the body remains floppy without stuffing.

You can find other crochet patterns from the Furls Blog Hop here.

Love Bear Snuggler

Bear Snuggler Crochet Pattern by Underground Crafter

The Love Bear Snuggler has a big heart that starts out as a granny square. This adorable bear snuggler crochet pattern is perfect for cuddling or for carrying along on the next adventure.

Finished Size

  • 14″ (35.5 cm) tall when assembled.

Materials

  • Furls Wander yarn (100% acrylic, 3.5 oz/100 g, 120 yd/109 m) – 2 skeins in Patina (CA) and 1 skein each in Atlantis (CB) and Dragonfruit (CC), or approximately 160 yd (146 m) in CA, 75 yd (68.5 m) in CB, and 20 yd (18.5 m) in CC in any smooth medium weight yarn.
  • Furls Blush Streamline Metal US Size F-5/3.75 mm crochet hook, or any size needed to obtain correct gauge.
