I’m sharing a crochet slouch hat pattern that was originally designed for Craftsy under previous owners. The hat has a subtle texture that reminded me of palm weaving. I included infant, child, and adult sizes and it’s a one skein project in a light weight yarn.

Back in the old days of Craftsy, I designed several patterns for kits. Craftsy no longer sells patterns, yarn, or kits, and when they sold to the new owners, I got the rights for these patterns. The Caribbean Palm Weave Slouch has been a premium crochet pattern for several years, but I made some updates to it and am now offering it as a free blog pattern for the first time.

This crochet slouch hat has great texture and a classic look that works for all genders. It uses basic stitches but you’ll have to pay a little bit of attention because it’s all about where you insert your hook. To get the same texture as I did, you’ll have to follow the pattern instructions closely.
