The annual Hat of the Month Club with Oombawka Design Crochet and The Stitchin’ Mommy is one of my favorite online events and I love to join in every year! Get all the details here on Oombawka Design Crochet and here on The Stitchin’ Mommy. Rhondda and Amy include guest designers, so each month you get 3 free hat patterns. If you like to make hats to wear, donate, gift, or sell, this is the Crochet Along for you!

This lacy crochet slouch hat pattern matches the Maple Street Scarf from last week.

As with the scarf, I used my Denise Interchangeable Love2Crochet Bright hook in a much larger size than normal to create a gentle and open drape for the main hat body, but then I used a smaller size for the hat band so you can still get a snug fit. The Herrschners Worsted 8 Gradience yarn in Jungle brought together all the beautiful greens of spring.

I love how the Maple Street Slouch turned out, and the pattern is available in 10 sizes so you can make a matching set for the whole family.
