When I was working on Mr. Putty Cat, Sr., I knew I wanted to make a mini version, too.

Free crochet patterns: Mr. Putty Cat, Sr. and Putty Cat, Jr. in Red Heart Super Saver, stuffed with Fairfield Royal Silk Fiber Fill by Underground CrafterAt first, I thought of just making a smaller version of Mr. Putty Cat, Sr., but then I thought about the differences you usually see in a litter of cats. They don’t all look exactly like mom or dad, right? So I figured Putty Cat, Jr. would have to look a little bit like the (as yet un-designed) Ms. Putty Cat.

Free crochet pattern: Putty Cat, Jr. in Red Heart Super Saver and stuffed with Fairfield Poly-Fil Royal Silk Fiber Fill by Underground CrafterPutty Cat, Jr. is made in just three pieces. The Front and Back Panels include the ears and then the Nose is sewed on. I used cat craft/safety eyes, but you could substitute buttons or embroider the eyes on.
