Crochet Pattern: Flower Loom Granny Square

Flower Loom Granny Square, free crochet pattern with video tutorial by Underground Crafter

I’ve mentioned before that granny squares are my favorite go-to projects for stress relief. They’re also super portable, so grannies are perfect for commuting or traveling, too.

This post contains affiliate links. The Flower Loom and yarn for this project were generously provided by Boye and Lion Brand, respectively.

Back in April, I got my hands on a Boye Flower Loom for the first time. After making several yarn flower craft projects, I decided to try “squaring up” the flower into a granny square. You can find a video tutorial for making a yarn flower on a Flower Loom, along with more yarn flower projects, here. This pattern also includes its own video tutorial at the end.

These grannies can be easily turned into a blanket by joining them together in rows to reach your desired width, and then joining the rows together to reach your desired length. (Tip: Weave in the ends as you go, rather than waiting until the blanket is finished. Trust me on this one!)

Don’t forget to share a picture on Ravelry, Instagram, or with my Facebook page if you make one!
