Earlier this year, I shared the free knitting pattern for the Cupcake Hat. Since then, I’ve had requests for a crochet cupcake hat pattern and today I’m sharing it.

The crochet cupcake hat is at left in the photo above, and the knit version is on the right. You can change the “flavors” of the cupcake by switching up the yarn colors. Color A is the “cake” and Color B is the “frosting.”

Love the pattern. But I don’t know the term ‘Bob’ in next st…. Can you explain it. Thank you very much. I have been crocheting for a couple years so I am not real experienced. I do like to challenge myself tho’.
Thanks for asking, Carol. If you look further up in the pattern, in the abbreviations, you can find a definition of how to make the bobble. Let me know how your hat turns out!
