This shawlette pattern is the perfect project to wear to to gift for the holidays. When I was growing up, we spent most holidays at my maternal grandparents’ house. My grandmother would spend most of the day making everyone else feel comfortable. She would have multiple dishes cooking and, while the guests were often dressed up, she might be wearing a house dress while she was cooking.

Do you know a super hostess like this, too? The Hostess with the Mostest Shawlette is the perfect gift! The Red Heart Boutique Swanky yarn – with glistening sequins – adds quite a bit of bling. It can make even a house dress look glamorous! The lacy stitch pattern keeps it lightweight so it’s perfect for any climate or for a busy hostess who is moving around quickly to make sure her guests are happy.
