About Crafty Kitty Crochet

Melissa of Crafty Kitty Crochet designs all kinds of unique, kid-friendly crochet patterns – from mermaid accessories to amigurumi plushies – for crocheters of all skill levels! Melissa began crocheting when she was seven years old, and later discovered her passion for amigurumi. This started her down a path of making pop-culture crochet projects, which she sold online and at comic book conventions. Melissa and her crocheted critters have been featured in The New York Times and the Houston Chronicle! Her love of crocheting quirky accessories and toys would eventually inspire her to create a blog where she now shares free patterns with others crocheters. Melissa loves to make patterns for cute projects that are fun and easy to crochet. She never seems to run out of ideas for her next crazy crochet project, so it seems the best is yet to come!
