Crochet Pattern: Granny in the Corner

Crochet pattern: Granny in the Corner in Red Heart With Love yarn by Underground Crafter | This motif combines the traditional granny square with a mitered square to create an interesting combination of lace and solid spaces. This is one of several motifs used in the Classic Granny with a Twist Blanket.

This motif combines two of my favorite things: the Traditional Granny Square and a mitered square. (If you love mitered squares, too, check out my free patterns for the Mitered Square Pet Blanket and the Tunisian Crochet Mitered Square Pillow.) Combining a granny with a mitered square creates an interesting combination of lace and solid spaces.
