While I love the idea of crocheted bags, in practical use they often don’t work as expected.

Sometimes, they don’t hold their shape or tend to snag. Other times, lining them becomes a multi-craft project that you maybe didn’t plan for.

Not so with this little crochet clutch bag pattern! The Lined Clutch is small enough to avoid sagging, and the addition of a crochet liner makes it sturdier. I feel fine carrying my phone, keys, and wallet in this thing without worries that they will fly out as soon as I’m not paying attention.

I used a multicolor yarn because I loved every color inside of it, but you could also use a solid yarn or make it with stripes. Let your imagination run wild as you customize your version!
