14+ Patterns for Granny-Inspired Shawls

Shawls are some of my favorite projects to crochet. Shawls can add a touch of crochet to any outfit, protect you from a chill, or just give you a little “hug” when you need it! Today’s pattern collection includes granny-inspired shawls made with motifs, granny stitches, or variations on the granny stitch in a variety of shapes and styles.

  • South Hampton Triangle Shawl by The Loopy Lamb: This shawl is designed to lay flatter on the chest and to be comfortably worn in warmer weather.
  • Granny Square Shawl by The Purple Poncho: This classic shawl is a wonderful beginner project and includes video tutorials.
