Santa Suit Crochet Coaster Pattern

I’m sharing a crochet coaster pattern as part of the Table Decor Blog Hop with SandraStitches. This simple pattern makes a double-thick coaster and is perfect for protecting your furniture for hot winter drinks like cider and hot cocoa.

I’m excited to join Sandra for the Table Decor with a Story Blog Hop. Each day throughout the Blog Hop, a new free pattern for table decor is released. The PDF version of each pattern is also available for free for 24 hours.

For my contribution, I made an easy peasy crochet coaster pattern for the Santa Suit Coasters. I was inspired by my Aunt Isabel (who really goes the extra mile when decorating for the holidays) and by MC (who loves making special hot chocolate all winter). I decided to make a double-thick coaster that would be capable of protecting furniture from the heat and condensation of those warm winter drinks like hot cocoa and hot cider.

Because the coaster is folded over and seamed, you don’t have to worry about what the color changes or woven in ends look like–they are hidden inside!
