2023 Halloween Crochet Along

Things are getting eerie as the ghosts and goblins prepare to take flight. Witches are preparing their brooms and pumpkin patches are putting their best gourds forward. And it’s time for us crafters to get out our spooky crochet hooks and start on our Halloween projects with the annual Halloween Crochet Along. For the fifth year in a row, hosted in the CAL Central Facebook and Ravelry Groups, twelve designers will be sharing free, ghoulish and magical designs that’ll have you all set for October 31. I hope you’re planning on joining the fun, all the while chatting with other crocheters and even having the chance to win cool prizes!

How the Halloween Crochet Along Works

2023 Halloween Crochet Along with CAL Central via Underground Crafter

Every Monday and Thursday from August 21 through September 28, 2023, we’ll share a free crochet pattern for a Halloween-themed project. These patterns include decorations, toys, costume elements, and more.

This year, we have exciting prizes from KnitPal, Knitter’s Relief Balm, GlassEyesOnline, and AndeanSun Yarns who have generously provided prizes for our end-of-CAL giveaway. Don’t forget to enter the giveaway at the bottom of this blog post by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023!

How To Join the Halloween CAL

  • Sign up for Crochet Along updates and the Underground Crafter newsletter to get regular updates, including links to new CAL patterns as they are released.
