13+ Free Scrap Yarn Crochet Blanket Patterns

If you’ve been crocheting or knitting for any length of time, you may have a substantial stash of scrap yarn — leftover bits of yarn from projects, or random single skeins that aren’t quite enough for the specific project you had in mind. Scrap yarn crochet blankets are the perfect solution, because they can use up a lot of scrap yarn. Some of these patterns are motif projects, which can be worked slowly over time and then seamed, while others are crocheted in rows or from corner-to-corner, so you may need to set them down periodically so you can build up your yarn stash again! In this collection, I’m including 13 of my favorite free scrap yarn crochet blanket patterns from around the web, along with links to 6 free Underground Crafter patterns that would look great in scrap yarn!
