How the 2025 Holiday Stashdown Crochet Along Works

Starting from today, all the way until to December 15, every Monday and Thursday, we’ll share a free crochet pattern from a different designer. These are smaller projects, requiring either one skein of yarn or bits from your stash. This allows you to really experiment with the different techniques and stitches these designers introduce without worrying about messing up and having to frog up too much precious yarn. You can also make these in batches to sell at holiday craft fairs or to add to stockings!

This is the eleventh Holiday Stashdown Crochet Along, meaning we’ve been running for over a decade! While waiting for new patterns, you can work on some from the previous iterations:

  • Sign up for Crochet Along updates and the Underground Crafter newsletter to get regular updates, including links to new CAL patterns as they are released. When you sign up, you’ll also get access to my subscriber vault which includes exclusive free PDF patterns, a coupon code for your choice of any crochet or knitting pattern or ebook from my Ravelry shop, and coupon codes from other indie designers and crafts businesses. 
  • You can join in by crocheting the patterns as you have time.
